thypoch-simera-c-t1-5-cine-prime-lens
Thypoch Simera-C T1.5 Cinema Prime Lens and 5-Lens Set

Special order item

This product is ordered in on request, with a lead time of 2 to 3 weeks from payment. We're happy to discuss your requirements before you order, so DM us or email info@rigr.co.za for more info.

A matched set of five compact cine primes that let you shoot an entire production without the bulk or weight penalty most cinema lenses demand. The Simera-C kit covers 21mm to 75mm at a constant T1.5 aperture, each lens weighing 369 to 491 grams. Available in both Leica M-mount and Sony E-mount, so you can match your camera system. This matters on set: smaller, consistent weight across focal lengths means faster lens swaps, simpler rebalancing on gimbals and sliders, and a camera build that stays nimble through a long shooting day.

The optical design prioritises neutrality and clean bokeh. Aspherical elements and low-dispersion glass keep chromatic aberration minimal and sharpness consistent edge to edge, with 16 aperture blades producing smooth, round highlights. Manual focus throws a full 210 degrees, giving you precise control; minimum focus distances range from 23cm (21mm) to 55cm (75mm), so you can work in tighter spaces than most rangefinder-based designs allow. All five lenses share the same 0.8 MOD gear pitch and unified focus and iris ring placement, so follow focus and accessory rigging stays put when you change glass.

Full-frame coverage at 43.2mm image circle means the set works on Sony Alpha and FX Cinema cameras, DJI Ronin 4D, RED, and ARRI systems via adapter. Built from anodized aluminum with dust and splash resistance, the kit ships in a custom foam case designed for transport. Designed for filmmakers who need gear that works when it matters.

Key Features

5 focal lengths: 21mm, 28mm, 35mm, 50mm, 75mm

Available in Leica M-mount and Sony E-mount

Constant T1.5 aperture across entire kit

Full-frame (43.2mm image circle) coverage

16-blade aperture for smooth bokeh

Manual focus, 210° throw

0.8 MOD gear pitch, unified focus and iris placement

Ultracompact: 369–491g per lens

Minimal chromatic aberration, supports 8K resolution

Hard case with foam insert included

Dust and splash-resistant aluminum construction

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0893/5600/9745/files/thypoch-simera-c-t1-5-cine-prime-5-lens-set-open.jpg?v=1791400690
