DZOFilm X-tract 18-28mm T8 Probe Lens (PL)

The X-Tract 18-28mm is a full-frame macro probe zoom designed to reach into spaces no conventional lens can access. This complete kit includes all three probe modules (0 degree direct view, 90 degree right-angle, and 360 degree rotating), plus hard case. From a slim 415mm barrel with less than 30mm front diameter, it delivers up to 2.1:1 magnification and a 6mm close focus distance, built for tight spaces and intricate detail work.

On set, the zoom range (18-28mm, 1.55x ratio) lets you frame tighter or wider without losing focus, thanks to the parfocal design. The constant T8 aperture holds throughout the zoom, and the 300 degree focus throw gives you precision control. Waterproof, dustproof and anti-fog construction (IP57) handles wet or contaminated environments. Cine-standard 0.8 MOD gears on focus, iris and zoom keep it compatible with follow focus and motor systems.

The optical design pairs high-refractive-index and extra-low-dispersion elements to control distortion below plus-minus 2 percent across the full zoom range, with near-zero distortion at 24mm. Relative illumination stays above 70 percent across all three modules, holding brightness consistent in tight, shadowed spaces. The rear-heavy balance reduces vibration during handheld or supported shooting.
