Laowa 10mm f2.8 Auto Focus

The Laowa 10mm f/2.8 Zero-D FF is Laowa's first autofocus lens—a full-frame ultra-wide prime that does something unusual: it delivers a 10mm focal length without resorting to a fisheye. Instead, it maintains straight lines across the frame while holding an f/2.8 aperture, a combination that simply didn't exist until now.

On set or in the field, this means you can shoot expansive landscapes, architecture, and interior work with genuinely minimal distortion. The 130.4° angle of view captures dramatic space without the edge curvature or barrel that typically comes with extreme wide angles. At 420g and just 70.8mm long, it travels light. The 12cm close focus distance opens possibilities for wide-angle macro work—foreground detail and expansive background in a single frame. Autofocus is available on Sony E and Nikon Z mounts; Canon RF and L-mount versions are manual focus.

The optical design stacks 15 elements across 9 groups, including two aspherical and three ED glasses, built to deliver edge-to-edge sharpness and colour control. The 5-blade aperture creates a clean 10-point sunstar effect, useful for night sky and landscape work. A removable lens hood, 77mm filter thread, and included lens caps round out the package.
