Built for minimal weight and maximum creative freedom, the Laowa 12mm T2.9 Lite Zero-D VV is an ultra-wide cine lens engineered for full-frame and VistaVision cinematography. With a 122° angle of view and compact mirrorless design, it suits gimbal work, drone mounting and handheld rigs without sacrificing optical precision.

The Zero-D optical design keeps straight lines straight from frame edge to edge—essential when you're working with an ultra-wide perspective. At 430–458g depending on mount, it remains light enough for stabiliser systems while maintaining professional cinema housing with 0.8 mod gears on focus and aperture rings. Close focusing to 14 cm opens up detailed wide-angle compositions, and the 77 mm filter thread means you can attach ND or polariser filters directly without bulky matte-box setups.

Full-frame, large-format and VistaVision coverage comes from a 46.31 mm image circle, making it future-proof if you upgrade to larger-sensor cameras. Available in ARRI PL, Sony E, Canon RF, Nikon Z and L mount. The package includes front and rear lens caps, lens pouch and shim set for flange calibration.
