DZOFilm Octopus II PL Lens Mount Adapter

The Octopus II is a mechanical adapter that lets you mount ARRI PL cinema lenses on Sony E, Canon RF, Nikon Z, or Leica L camera bodies. It weighs just 178 to 190 grams depending on mount type, making it practical for handheld, gimbal, and compact cinema builds.

Built from aluminum alloy and stainless steel machined to 0.01mm precision, it maintains infinity focus without calibration and has been tested for 100,000 mounting cycles. The internal clearance has been expanded by 7.12% compared to the first generation, accommodating a wider range of PL lenses including DZOFilm's Arles, Arcana, Vespid, Catta, Pictor, and Gnosis series. A detachable 1/4 inch-20 threaded base shifts the weight away from the camera mount, reducing stress during long handheld sessions or rigged setups.

The ergonomic handle was redesigned to make lens swaps faster and easier than the original version. There's no electronic pass-through, so it works as a purely mechanical bridge between PL glass and modern camera mounts. Compatible with Super 35, full-frame, and medium-format lenses.
